SW)--We missed out on any rain, but avoided the severe weather, including tornados, last night that left other areas of the state with damage. Tornado damage was reported in Cleveland and McClain counties to the south of the OKC metro area. Damage was reported in Noble and Goldsby. There were also brief tornado touchdowns in the Cole and Newcastle areas. There will be new chances of rain and thunderstorms across the Enid area beginning tonight and continuing through the Mother’s Day weekend, but a diminished risk of severe storms and tornados.
