CT)--The One Enid Christ Tree has been delayed by a winter storm in California that has pushed back its arrival in Enid by a few days. “The tree has left California,” Nicole Winfield, project coordinator for The One Enid said this morning. The 140-foot tree originally was scheduled to arrive in Enid around noon on Friday. Barring any future weather delays the tree is expected to arrive Sunday. While there will be no official arrival ceremony, the public is welcome to come to downtown when the tree is arriving. You can follow the progress on The One Facebook page. The arrival delay of the world's tallest, fresh-cut Christmas tree will not affect its role during the Enid Lights Up the Plains Celebration on Nov. 25.
