FW)--A Freeze Warning will be in effect for the late night and overnight hours tonight across much of northern, central and northwest Oklahoma including the Enid area.  The National Weather Service forecast is calling for an overnight low tonight in Enid of 27. Frost and freeze conditions could kill sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing. Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. Now that below freezing temperatures are possible, it is also the time to disconnect hoses from outside faucets.

HS)--Enid Regional Development Alliance, in partnership with RDG Planning & Design, began a process in September to develop the citywide housing study. A handful of Enid city officials and other community members attended a come-and-go meeting Monday evening at Open Door Church which was aimed for people living in the neighborhood around Longfellow Middle School and Garfield Elementary School. Enid residents have the chance for their voices to be heard, as an online survey will be available until around Thanksgiving. The housing study, the first since ERDA conducted on in 2015, aims to identify effective strategies that will address Enid’s housing affordability needs, particularly regarding quality, affordable housing. The overall goal with the housing study is to understand the market and where Enid is at presently, and then see what residents want in the future and how to attain those things.
