OD)--Two Enid men were arrested Tuesday evening when Enid and Garfield County authorities served two arrest warrants for first-degree murder. 37 year-old Kenneth Tyrone Sanders Jr. and 26 year-old Gage Alexander Huffman were booked in connection with the overdose death of an Enid man in October of last year. Sanders was taken into custody without incident at High Point Trailer Park. Huffman, who was already in custody on unrelated drug charges, was served with his warrant in jail. Authorities said the eight-month long investigation began with officers responding to an unattended death Oct. 20, 2021. Officers responded to a residence in the 400 block of West York and found 46 year-old Eric Lee Houston, deceased in a detached garage. Sanders and Huffman are accused with supplying the Fentanyl that resulted in Houston’s death. Sanders and Huffman are being held without bond. EPD Narcotics Unit officials said this case remains under investigation along with other overdose deaths.
