DP)--Prayer for our community and nation will be the focus of Enid’s 2021 National Day of Prayer gathering from noon to 12:40 p.m. today. The event will be at the gazebo on the north side of the Garfield County Courthouse in downtown Enid. The prayer gathering is sponsored by the Enid Ministerial Alliance, which represents numerous churches and ministries in Enid. National Day of Prayer is not affiliated with any one denomination, and all people are encouraged to attend and pray.

CF)--The Oklahoma Employment Security Commission (OESC) invites the public to attend a career fair hosted at the Stride Bank Center in Enid on May 12. The event opens to the general public at 9:00 a.m. Doors open for veterans at 8:30 a.m. Attendees are encouraged to register to see potential employers and find helpful resources. Along with the in-person event, there is a month long virtual career fair where employers can post available jobs and receive resumes, as well as interact with prospective employees. Both options are free to participate in because of CARES Funding that has been made available for this program. For more information about the OESC Career Fair, check them out online.
