DL)--For the next week November 16th – November 20th, EPS will implement virtual/distance learning districtwide. In addition, a deep cleaning of all school facilities will take place during that time period. Then, there will be no school for Thanksgiving Break the week of November 23rd – November 27th. Again, the district will move to distance learning as of Monday, November 16. Enid Public Schools Child Nutrition Department will continue to provide meals to families during the week of November 16-20. There are two options available to families to pick up meals:

 

Families can drive through the pick-up line located between the Central Kitchen (519 S. Washington) and the Administrative Services Center (500 S. Independence); or Pick up meals at Waller Middle School (2604 W. Randolph). In order to help with social distancing and to keep everyone safe, meals will be set out on table and patrons will be asked to get out of their vehicle and pick them up.

 

Meals will be available for pick up between the hours of 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. for each student in your household under the age of 18. Please have students in the car with you for meal pick-up. Central Kitchen will be closed for Thanksgiving break, November 23-27, and will not distribute meals that week. They look forward to continuing to serve families on Monday, November 30.

KD)--Tickets remain for Kyle Dillingham & Horseshoe Road performing a Fall Homecoming Concert set for 7:00 tonight at Stride Bank Center Grand Ballroom. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Opening band Dually Noted takes the stage at 6:30 p.m. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door. VIP Seating will be in the front rows and include tabletop seating. General admission will be theater seating behind the front rows. Tables and chairs will be socially distanced between parties.

FD)--Jiffy Trip in Enid is offering free drinks today for front-line workers, in conjunction with United Way of Northwest Oklahoma’s observance of World Kindness Day. The free drink offer is good only at the West Garriott location, and is open to all teachers, school staff, police, fire, health care workers and first responders. Free drinks in the offer include fountain, frozen and coffee drinks, and will be offered until 10:00 tonight.

VD)--The annual Veterans Day parade will be this Saturday in downtown Enid starting at 11:00am. The parade will circle the square. Local groups and organizations will be participating in this year’s Veterans Day Parade. Parade organizers are asking for participants.
